Thanks for the information about your refrigerator model 10650569991, I will be glad to assist you. You have established that the ice maker is getting water so we know the water supply is turned on. There are now a couple things you will need to verify, when you press the water cradle do you hear anything (clicking, buzzing or both). If you do not hear a click and buzz sound then the problem is most likely in the dispenser switches or controls. If you do hear this sound the most likely problem would be a frozen line in back of fresh food section, clogged water filter or the inlet valve is bad.  It is best not to open dispenser area until we know it is needed.  Check these items and pin point the cause of you problem, if you need more assistance please reply with more details and I will be glad to respond. If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services.Ron H.

Ron thanks for your systematic response. some more information i gathered. I tested the inlet valve and got a reading of 340 on the water side and 170 on the ice maker side. Readings taken with power unplugged on refrigerator.. on the chat line the tech suggested a frozen line as well. I reconnected the relay wires plugged the frig back in and tested the water dispenser and IT WAS WORKING. So I think I can rule out a frozen line. And Im thinking if the water filter was clogged I would not have ice made. Now today water dispenser is not working. It buzzes when the switch is depressed. so my conclusion is the inlet valve is failing intermittantly and should be changed. Do you concur?

Hi Carl, if the buzzing is coming from the inlet valve and no lines are frozen or restricted then yes the vlave would be bad. Ron H.
