Thank you for choosing ManageMyLife.com. I understand how frustrating it can be when you have to work at keeping the refrigerator door closed. Make sure that your refrigerator is level and not leaning forward. A faulty door gasket could also cause this issue. I have included instructions below on how to test your gasket.

1. Test the refrigerator gasket with the power connected, if desired. Open the door and place a piece of paper or dollar in the door gap, between the metal and the rubber gasket lining the inside of the door. Close the door and tug at the paper. Resistance from the door seal indicates no gap or leak in that portion of the door.

2. Repeat the testing procedure all along the perimeter of both the door to the refrigerator and to the freezer. Any areas where the paper easily pulls out from the door have a leak or gap in the gasket.

I have included a link to our PartsDirect page where you can purchase the part you need to complete your repair. Just click the blue link below to be taken to the page.
