Question and Answers

Q:

Kenmore Model 103-4227202, Door Seal no. 294592 103-4227202

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

Unfortunately, due to the age of the oven, we do not have many specifics. The door seals are typically a braided steel composition, but my system doesn't state specifically. You very well may have a replacement seal added to the oven from a local source. You wil just need to find an appliance repair that specializes in older restorations or fabrications.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Thank you for your question.

I have looked up the element for you. The element changes to a universal element. The part number for the element is TS838 and can be ordered from our parts website: Sears Parts Direct .

The connectors on the new element might be different. If this is the case, you can purchase new connectors at your local appliance parts store. Just remember the connectors have to be rated for high temperature.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using Manage my life.
