I am sorry to tell you that we don't have any owners manuals for the table saw or the joiner.

You can see a parts diagram for both products at Parts Direct Many parts for both are no longer available for ordering.

Good luck on your project. It sounds like you are going to have fun.

Thank you for your question.

I can understand your dilemma with trying to figure out how to mount the motor on this old table saw.

These table saws came without motors and you have to choose a motor for the saw and mount it yourself.

This table top saw needs to be put on the stand and then the motor was mounted to the bench stand.

The motor needs to be on a mount that is able to hinge so as you raise and lower the saw blade the motor is able to move as you raise and lower the blade.

The bottom of the motor should have a mounting plate and I would mount an angle bracket on the stand and then use a steel rod the use some Eye bolts mounted to the angle bracket and then put the steel rod through the eye bolts and mount the rod to the motor bracket.

I wish I had a picture to show you but I do not. If you need a better description please reply and I will be happy help you further.

Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Is there a way I could get a copy of that manual? I also have a 103.22160 table saw and could use the manual for a reference. Thanks!

Q:

I need a replacement tilt gear PART NUMBER: C37429 10322160 Craftsman 8 inch bench saw

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

Sorry to see that the control gear, part number C37429, has since been discontinued. This is largely due to the age of the bench saw.

I looked extensively through the available gears, but did not see anything that would be a direct fit. I ran an online search based upon the part number to see if there were any NOS (New Old Stock) available, but didn't see anything there either.

The only option I could offer would be to have a machinist or fabricator create a new control gear for you. I don't see any other options besides that. I am not aware of any site that would sell gears similar to the original, but may be worth looking into online.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help on this and we appreciate your inquiry on it. Thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
