Thank you for contacting Sears. I will be more than happy to assist you with your Craftsman tractor.

I can understand the frustration of your tractor not functioning properly, after researching model number 102.273920. The belt that runs from the upper engine to the jackshaft is part number 07235700. This belt is available on our website at SearsPartsDirect.com in the link below.

Q:

102.273920 jackshaft pulley 102273920 Craftsman Lawn tractor

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

You will need to remove the belt. Once removed, it will be best to remove the mounting plate the pulley mounts to. Once removed, I would put the assembly in a vise and remove the locknut with an impact wrench. The bearings may cause the pulley to not want to separate from the mounting plate, so you will thread the locknut back on a few threads and slight tap it with a hammer to cause the mounting plate to disengage from the pulley. Once disassembled, check the bearings. Lube the mounting plate with some water resistant grease and anti seize on the threads.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.
