I provided some information in the images below that may help you install that manifold. Unplug the range and shut off the gas supply before beginning that repair. The first image shows how to lift the cooktop. Once you lift the cooktop, you should be able to remove the manifold. Remove the knobs and switches on the manifold. You should find fasteners (screws) that secure that manifold to the range. I posted a parts diagram for a typical range that uses that manifold in the second image.

I hope that this information helps. If you need more assistance, reply with additional details and the full model number of your GE Profile range.

If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician replace that manifold, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services .

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The "F2" fault code indicates a run away oven. Based on your symptom the electronic oven control broil relay is most likely stuck closed. Disconnect the power supply and inspect the broil element for any signs of blisters or cracks. If the broil element looks normal like the bake element, we can rule out the broil element being shorted to ground and the most likely failure is the electronic oven control. The electronic oven control #WB27X10216 for Hotpoint range model RB757BB1 can be ordered from Sears Parts Direct.

I added an image below that may help in accessing the oven control.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Thanks for the help guys but I found the fused contact in the broiler relay on my own. I check the oven control diagram for part number WB27X10216 and it does not match exactly so the wiring clips won't line up. Also , the enclosed image from Joey S for accessing the control circuitry is not from the Hotpoint Range listed. Fortunately, mine is much easier. It has a simple flat galvinized plate held in place by 4 screws. Unless I can find a diagram that shows how to move the wiring from the OE control unit to the one currently offered as a replacement, I'm not going to try it.
