I show the motor on both models is no longer in production. If you can find one or the other they should both work on your model though. There are some slight variances between them but it shouldn't be anything that's going to affect its function. As for finding either of them, you may just have to search around on the internet to see if you can locate one somewhere (possibly even used).

Q:

owners manual

A:

Having an owners manual for the Craftsman lathe can be beneficial. I understand you are having some difficulties finding yours. Manufacturers stop producing manuals after ten years. This could be the cause of availability. Sometimes the expert can find one that is very similar to yours. You should hear back within two business days. If you are having a specific problem please submit your question on the existing tread by click on the reply box below for your expert.

Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand the importance of having owner's manuals for your items. After doing some research I found the owner's manual is no longer available. This is due to the age of the model. Generally, parts and manuals are only available for the first 10 years. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com.
