Hi, Thank you for asking this question and allow me to answer it this way.

Ok, the icemaker is dripping water, so lets get past the connector issue from the other thread. Is the icemaker level on its mounting pins? If the water is seeping in check the water valve and disconnect it, where the water goes up the tube to the icemaker. Is the water valve leaking? Could you send a photo of your installation? That would be very helpful. I think of level of icemaker, or a seeping john guest fitting followed by a seeping water valve as the problem. There are many GE top mount videos on the installation of icemakers on Google search you might want to check out.
Here is a link on John Guest fittings . I hope this answer is useful and that it helps you correct the problem with your appliance.
