Q:

Parts 020228 Briggs&stratton Pressure washer

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears and contacting us with your question about a part for your Briggs & Stratton pressure washer model 020228. I am so sorry you are not happy with the service we provide.  Let me see what I can do to change that. I will be happy to help you with locating just the orange nozzle.

Your question did not include the revision number of your pressure washer. Fortunately, in this case there are only the original model and one revision. Therefore, I researched both for you. The part from the original model substitutes over to the part under the revision. I have included the link below for you to view and order the part.

I hope this answers your question. Thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business.

Q:

No Pressure 020228 Briggs&stratton Pressure washer

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your dishwasher. Upon researching model 66516032403:  Check to make sure the inlet screen is not plugged up. Also, remove the screen and look down in the inlet tube and make sure there isn't a lot of calcium deposits build up in there. If those things look good then there may be a problem with the unloader. You can remove the unloader and make sure it's clean. If it looks clean then the unloader itself may be bad. Before you condemn the unloader and get a new one, make sure to take the check valves out and make sure they're clean and not damaged.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.

Q:

Oil is leaking from base of Craftsman Pressure Washer Model 020228, 4.5HP, 2200 PSI engine when not running. What problem might this indicate? 020228 Briggs&stratton Pressure washer

A:

Thank you for your inquiry on your Briggs & Stratton Engine, Model: 020228. From reviewing the details on your model, the metal piece on the air filter housing covers up the crankcase breather tube that circulates excess crankcase pressure and vapor into the carburetor. The excessive oil that you are seeing is usually caused by an excessive oil level. Occasionally a failed vacuum breather on the engine may also cause this issue. I advise ensuring the oil is at the proper level. The vacuum breather is mounted on the opposite side of the engine and is held on by two screws.

Safety Warning: Before beginning the repair, disconnect the direct power supply to the engine to prevent the risk of injury or any electrical shock.

If you don’t feel comfortable or confident in this repair, then you can have it repaired at home by a sears technician. I have the included a link to the website: Sears Home Services or call 1-800-469-4663.

I hope this answered your question. Thank you for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com, and have yourself a wonderful day.
