Q:

No water getting to ice maker 25370822001

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com and being a valued member.  I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your icemaker will not work.

1. Check the temperature of the freezer becasue if it is fewer than 17 degrees F it wont make ice.

2.Check if your water fill spout is plugged with ice, if it is then it wont make ice.
3. Check to see if water is getting to the water inlet valve.
4.Use an OHM meter to check the continuity of the water inlet valve. If it does not have any continuity then you need to replace your water valve. If it does then the icemaker itself is the problem and may need to be replaced.

Q:

Water puddles inside refrig Whirpool model# ET18GMXHW01 ET18GMXHW01 Whirlpool Top mount refrigerator

A:

Thank you for your inquiry on your Whirlpool Refrigerator, Model: ET18GMXHW01. From reviewing the details on your model, Water will leak into the refrigerator when the drain system freezes up. Every time the unit goes into a defrost cycle, water will run down into the refrigerator, instead of down the drain. To clear the drain, remove everything in the freezer, so the back panel can be removed. First disconnect power to the unit. With the panel removed, you will see the evaporator coil and directly under the coil is the drain trough (pan). The trough will probably be full of ice that will need to be removed. A hair dryer works well for this. Just be careful not to get it too hot. With the ice out of the trough, you will be able to see the drain hole, which will be plugged with ice. Use hot water to clear the drain hole. Keep working the hot water into the hole and wiping the excess water. This can take quite a while, depending on how deep the ice is. This will need to be done until you get a good water flow down to the bottom drain pan. With the drain system clear, water should stop leaking in the refrigerator.

Safety Warning: Before beginning the repair, disconnect the direct power supply to the refrigerator to prevent the risk of injury or any electrical shock.

If you don’t feel comfortable or confident in this repair, then you can have it repaired at home by a sears technician. I have the included a link to the website: Sears Home Services or call 1-800-469-4663.

I hope this answered your question. Thank you for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com, and have yourself a wonderful day.

Problem fixed. It was the control board. Since I was getting three different, unrelated error codes and the dishwasher was consistently going to cancel (no matter which cycle) 35-37 minutes into the wash, it made sense to me it was a faulty dishwasher brain. Ordered a replacement control circuit board from: http://www.searspartsdirect.com Model #: 665.13922K010 PART NUMBER: W10195343 Substitution: W10352582 Received it a few days ago and replaced it this morning. Was physically tricky because of all the circuit board lock tabs, covers snaps and wire connector locking tabs. But, the dishwasher is now working perfectly. While I had the door panel opened, I pulled the vent cover and cleaned and lubricated the vent washer and surfaces because that's a known design flaw of this model dishwasher that Sears refuses to admit or cover under warranty (shame on Sears). So, problem solved. I think the experts on here should have raised the control circuit board as one of the possible failures/problems that could cause my issue.
